Every fucking time I’m away from NYC I miss it. Y’all…I haven’t properly slept here since I came and there are bugs everywhere, I ain’t about this life but I hope it gets better when the kids get here. I’m so stressed out and I’m not even sleeping. I miss my friends and my pot french host mom is so busy that she takes forever to respond to me.

You guys, I’m leaving for camp tomorrow at 5 a.m. The internet there sucks ass but that’s a plus because I won’t be on tumblr 24/7 the entire summer and I can make gifs during the night time when we have time off. So this blog will still be active. I come back to Brooklyn on the 4th of August and hopefully when I return this blog will be all about getting ready for France. So ehh, I’ll see y’all in a lil while, I’m going to go remove all the hair from my body.
re-watching Whores’ Glory for the millionth time and I just looked at the currency exchange rate and I am just shocked. The Mexican women charged 100 pesos (almost $8.00) for everything, I think it includes a bj and just missionary position. Extra positions are 50 pesos each (almost $4.00) and 300 pesos is basically everything, diff positions and anal ($23.00). It’s even worse in Bangladesh, most of the women require 100 takas (mind you most men pay LESS than this), which is $1.00 and some change, one girl said that she had 10 guys that day. In Thailand the American guy complained that the price of 1200 baht ($39.00) was too HIGH. I don’t think the girls mentioned how much of that 39 dollars they got but I’m sure it wasn’t enough.

Language is so amazing you guys, if you only know one language, seriously, attempt to learn another. I grew up speaking Jamaican Patois, writing in British English and after moving to the states started writing in American English and lost my Jamaican accent. When I decided to au pair, Germany was the LAST place I wanted to go, seriously, it was the one place that I didn’t want to go. I couldn’t imagine myself learning German and when I pictured Germany I just saw dark and cloudy weather, but I am SO glad that I went. It changed my life for the better, even though the experience didn’t work out, I have no regrets.
My social “issues” have left. Going to Germany and meeting sooo many people that actually liked me back, made me realize that I’m not so bad, that other people, besides my couple best friends, found me bearable. I went out to clubs, got pissy drunk, felt a penis, SO many things. I freaking learned German, and while learning it realized that it has a lot of similarities to Jamaican Patois, believe it or not. I am still so shocked that it came to me so quickly. I LOVE the German language, ich liebe diese Sprache. Sometimes I get so frustrated when I attempt to learn some more by myself but I’m going to keep going.
Seriously, if you’re able to, learn another language, it’s so fun to be able to express yourself in more than one language.
